Our Service Grants

The Altrusa Service Committee allocates funds to local, community, nonprofit organizations through our Grant program. Many non-profits in the Montrose area have benefited from grant funds they received.  Altrusa believes in supporting these deserving groups who in turn support individuals and families in a variety of ways. Altrusa has yearly fundraisers to raise money to give out to these organizations through the grant program.  Over the past two years alone, the committee has given out over $10,000.  Some grant recipients include: Haven House, Habitat for Humanity, Hispanic Affairs Project, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Montrose Children’s Museum and the Montrose Adult Education Center.
