WHAT IS ALTRUSA?
Altrusa is a non-profit, international volunteer service organization founded in 1917 and classified as a service organization for business and professional women in 1918. Since its inception, Altrusa has grown into a network of clubs that each serve their community. In 1935 Altrusa expanded its reach internationally and now serves countries around the world on a truly global scale.
MISSION: Altrusa International of Montrose, Inc. provides community service, enhances leadership and personal development and encourages fellowship.
VISION: Giving the gifts of leadership and service to communities worldwide.
